I'm Jon Michael Iverson, and music has been the center of my life since I first sat down at the piano as a child. That path led me through graduate study in piano performance and pedagogy, a doctorate in educational leadership, and twenty years inside one of the country's largest community music schools, where I still teach and lead today.

Just recently, my creative practice expanded into something new: human-directed, AI-assisted music. I didn't come to it to leave music behind — I came to it by following music forward, the way I always have. It's the newest instrument I've learned to play, held to the same standard I've always worked by: craft, honesty, and a real reason behind every note.
